arrived...charleston, sc

We arrived at our hotel in Charleston at about 4pm. We had a really nice drive down. We stopped at the North Carolina Welcome Center off I-77 for a picnic lunch. It is nice and warm down here. The hotel is nice, we have a river view from our balcony. The picture is of the view from our room. We are going to head out for dinner and exploration in a bit. Then tomorrow we are off for another 8 hours of driving to get to my Dad's place.
